About the project
Building and finishing materials retail chain CSK uses Smartix parcel machines for dispensing online orders. The customer is one of the top-3 retail chains in the field of “everything for repair” in the Ural Federal District, offers 9 000 product names, includes 11 stores.
Solved tasks
1. Increase in sales through the online store (10% discount is provided for online orders) and the simultaneous launch the process of independent receipt of any products by customers through self-service devices.
2. Reduction of the retailer's costs for personnel and for the maintenance of delivery points. As a result, the opportunity to offer more competitive prices and in the long term an increase in the retail network's income.
3. Optimization of logistics — the need for a courier to visit each address is reduced, the process of one-time insert/pick up of all goods into the parcel locker is being implemented. Devices also solve the problem of limited delivery time — no more dependence on time when a client at home and issuing enclosed orders at any convenient time.
4. Increased convenience for customers — an additional modern and contactless product distribution channel.

Result
According to the terms of the project, payment takes place on the website of CSK.rf, and the return of an unsuitable product is carried out to the sales offices. If necessary, Smartix parcel lockers can be equipped with POS terminals to receive payment on the device before dispensing. Locker's software supports the return of goods to the cells and accounting of all return-related business processes.
All devices are combined in a single back office, online monitoring of equipment and the life cycle of each order is available. The status of lockers and cells is monitored (contamination, malfunction), the responsible personnel receive online notifications by SMS, e-mail or via Telegram bot for timely response to events occurring in the network of parcel lockers. The functionality of the situation center allows to quickly solve any problems that arise on the client's side, open cells remotely.
