Our company acts as a leading supplier of parcel lockers for MFCs and specialized software for parcel lockers. We are announcing the launch of first parcel locker in the branch of MFC of the Altai region in Barnaul. Every month over 82000 Barnaul residents and guests of the region visit the “My documents” MFC and now thanks to Smartix parcel locker, a new, modern format for receiving documents is available to them without going to the registration desk and additional waiting.
Based on the results of the test launch it is planned to expand the number of parcel terminals for MFCs, installing them not only in the Barnaul offices and branches of “My documents”, but also in shopping and office centers and other locations where it is most convenient for clients to receive documents.
Algorithm for the operation of parcel lockers for documents at MFC
- User chooses the format for receiving the result during the application process at the MFC: in standard way through an employee at the window or through a self-service parcel locker.
- After inserting the documents into the locker client receives an SMS with an access code and cell number.
- Parcel locker administrator configures the storage period for documents. The user is informed about the storage periods. If the documents are unclaimed, employee retrieves them (freeing up the cell for a new client) and the documents will be available for receipt for a set number of days through the employee.
Features of the project for installing parcel lockers in the Barnaul MFC
The technical features of the project have not yet allowed our specialists to organize information exchange automatically through a universal API – but our system supports such functionality.
Therefore, specialists on the MFC side upload delivery operations, customer data, transaction number and telephone number for sending notifications in csv format. Next, the information is loaded into the back office of the Smartix parcel locker management system, data is structured and deposit operations are created based on it. An MFC employee with a mobile application for Smartix parcel lockers comes to the locker, logs in, scans the barcodes on packages with documents (the appropriate cell opens) or selects them from the list and enters the documents into the appropriate cells.
Based on the results of entering documents, Smartix system sends SMS notifications about readiness.
